About Yoga-Garden

905B4AEF-AA68-405F-A4B4-86A917324B81_1_105_c.jpeg

Hello! My name is Fiona. I fell in love with Yoga when I first practised it with my mum in a tiny village hall in Norfolk many years ago. It has been with me off and on throughout my life.

In 2014, I trained as a Seasonal Yoga teacher and  believe passionately that Yoga should focus on each student's personal aims and inner enquiry. I recently completed an eight month course with Donna Farhi "Teacher to the teachers " to develop my teaching strategy.

We offer yoga-based movement classes, 1-1s, workshops and day retreats focusing less on what each posture looks like but more on what it feels like. Combining movement and breath you will develop both physical and mental strength.

Classes are small, non-competitive and friendly. We are based in a light, airy studio in a beautiful garden location. When possible we take our yoga outside and into the natural environment. You are welcome to stay for a complimentary tea or coffee after day-time classes. We value each and every person who joins our yoga studio and we look forward to helping you achieve your individual goals.

Rebecca

"Fiona is a great teacher with a wealth of experience in all things yoga. She adapts her classes to fit student individual abilities and needs. I always leave her class feeling much calmer and more balanced than when I arrived. I cannot recommend Fiona more highly".

Charlotte

"Fiona has been teaching me weekly yoga for the past 5 years and I have enjoyed every  single session. For an hour or so every week, I put everything else aside in this busy world, focus solely on myself and find calm and peace. Through the lessons I stay fit, and learn about health both in body and mind, in a warm, friendly and encouraging atmosphere. There are always new discoveries and teachings, the sessions evolve and one leaves every time refreshed with a new positive outlook".

Alex

"Fiona always provides a caring, thoughtful and well researched session. Everyone is encouraged to work at their own pace in a relaxed friendly environment. Thoroughly enjoy my sessions and come away feeling refreshed and calm".

Jan

"After starting other yoga classes over the years, I ‘found’ yoga at last when I joined Fiona’s classes several years ago. The classes are always interesting and challenging but achievable within individual limitations with room for personal development. The classes are also friendly, sociable and constantly developing. I always feel uplifted and calmer after one of Fiona’s classes and I would highly recommend joining her if you are a novice or a more experienced yogi".
